Charlottesville High School is a lot different from what most people who

didnt attend UVA or live in C’Ville would think. It’s majority-minority with nearly half the student body on economic assistance last I checked. The wealthy alums who live in C’Ville tend to be retired empty nesters or send their kids to private schools.

The townie/student dynamic was pretty weird back when I was there and that was a long time ago…can’t imagine it’s changed all that much.
