I'm not a hypocrite because...


...I don't base my place of residence purely on politics. If I did, then of course I'd leave LA for a place governed by the sane.

But local politics, while not irrelevant, is just one of many factors in choosing a home, and not a particularly important factor -- at least to me -- relative to friends, family, climate, geography, career, etc. I generally like libs as people, too -- I just don't like the communists they've empowered in government.
