When you put very popular things on the ballot, to which (we say) the great space god of the ether objects, we theocrats, as the sole interpreters of god’s will, have to decide for the sinful masses.

I think the benevolent god of peace many like to imagine would be a fan of legal weed. He’s a fan of the demon alcohol, after all. Drunken bar brawls are very much a thing. Stoned people would rather share a joint.
