not Kennedy / Carter, Obama/ Clinton, Trump / the field. Crystol makes an argument that the winner comes out stronger for the GE.
Carville has rarely been accused of "idiocy" - at least be Dems. On the podcast, he claims he senses an overwhelrming desire for change - supported by data obviously - and the least risky thing for either party to do would be to pivot from the current presumptive nominees. He said the last time he sensed this so strongly was the 1992 election after 12 years of Reagan / Bush.
