They could rail against her, shoot down everything she floats, but the House would function. They would be united against her. And it would work with any Dem - Jeffries, for instance.

The only way to rise in Republican politics in 2023 is to be against it. That means that skills like vote counting, twisting arms, making things happen have eroded or disappeared among Republican legislators. Once McConnell moves on, it will be the same in the Senate.
