Unfortunately, they influence sports writers and TV execs, as well as the

pollsters, thus coverage.

I'm not sure how much more coverage/hype the ACC sports writers and/or DSPN could give Dook though, or UNC-CHeat.

But for the rest of the ACC, preseason picks/polls/hype are probably like manna from heaven.
