in probably, but they will then resume responsibility for occupation and governance of Gaza. A significant number of Israelis DO NOT want that. Now, I'm not sure what other choices they have, but that's a real concern. That and the fact that a protracted occupation and humanitarian crisis in Gaza will lose them some support in the world. That's just a fact.

Also, what's up with the Post? They are concerned about Gaza hostages but NOT the 600 Americans who are just trapped in Gaza? It's a shit show over there. There will be few, if any, winners.
