so what happens with the GOP leadership in the House? Looks like they're discussing rules today, no closed-door vote for the speaker nominee. What a needless waste of time - thanks again MAGA crew.

Do we think they'll settle on Jordan eventually? That would make me extremely nervous if I'm up for re-election in a competitive district. The majority feels very fragile, and Trump will be at the top of the ticket next year. Feels like a high-risk strategy.

That said, there's no way that moderates cut a deal with a handful of Dems is there? To perhaps bring KMac back? Just a bad look all the way around, the party is being held captive by a few extremists. The destruction is intentional I think.
