It’s crackbrained to claim the Dems caused this problem.

McCarthy offered them absolutely nothing in return for their support. That’s not how things work in Congress. Furthermore, he’s proven he can’t be trusted to honor a deal. The fact that he couldn’t muster the support of his entire caucus is completely on him.
