If I say “in times gone by” people accused of witchcraft were burned at the stake, I’m 1) making a factual statement, 2) not threatening anyone and 3) not saying people accused of witchcraft today should be burned at the stake. Most importantly, I’m not saying anything remotely controversial or worthy of condemnation.

I think what’s most amazing here is not your garden variety TDS, but rather your total lack of concern over a senior US military officer casually subverting the chain of command to provide confidential information to an adversary. Last time I checked, we placed citizens in charge of the military for a good reason and were pretty proud of that fact, but I suppose that’s yet another norm the left is fine with tossing into the garbage can in its quest to get Orange Man Bad.
