Yes. Actually the federal public defender the judge

offered to Taveras (Mar A Lago IT head) instead of the attorney appointed FOR him by Trump's legal team and paid for by the Trump super PAC, the same attorney appointed for Walt Nauta, Stanley Woodward.

Immediately after being advised by federal prosecutors that he was the target of a grand jury investigation in DC into whether he committed perjury in lying to them about the security camera footage, and raising with the judge the potential conflict of interest with the same attorney representing both defendants and witnesses, the judge offered him the chance to talk with a different attorney, a federal public defender, about those potential conflicts. Almost immediately after meeting with the federal public defender, Taveras flipped, retracted his prior false testimony, and provided information that implicated Nauta, De Oliveira, and Trump in efforts to delete security camera footage.
