I used to share an office back in the early 80s with Joanna, who I believe


may have been the first ever transsexual astronomer (nearly fully transitioned).

I also shared that same 2-4 person office with Barbara, who would become the first black female PhD astronomer.

I also shared that same office the entire time with Joanne, the husband of a lesbian couple who also part-time officiated C'ville rec league sports and who loved to talk sports, and whose wife was also an employee at the observatory.

And just for grins, along more traditional lines, I also shared an office, although not the same office as above, back in the mid 70s with a future (1993) Nobel Laureate in Physics.
