I assume you're extra careful now if you travel to a place where Dengue


is found? I learned can be fatal if contracted a second time (although I do think they now have a vaccine). I fell REALLY ill in spring 2019 following a trip to Costa Rica. Had a crazy fever.... It would spike to 102-103 if I wasn't on Tylenol or Advil to control it. Lasted for like 3 or 4 days. The doctor originally thought Dengue, but I tested negative. While we were waiting for the negative test, he told me I couldn't travel to a place with dengue if I end up testing positive until I can be vaccinated (we had an upcoming trip to Africa.... so we would have had to cancel). I ended up testing negative. They never figured out what I had.
