The OP was commenting on the misspeak by Trump, hence my response given Biden's inability to get through any single discussion without "misspeaking." It appears there is an exception to the current law that allows immigrants from Communist/Marxist countries if the executive branch deems them not a threat to national security. Given the situation at the border, Biden is, by fiat, deciding that no one is a threat, even to the point that someone on the terrorist watch list was let in and only found two weeks later after the mistake was made. Trump is not the best candidate for the Rs but he is not wrong to highlight the difference between unfettered access with reviews set out 4-6 years later versus scrutiny before admission.
