It’s audience about various election fraud fantasies, with clear smoking guns of them ridiculing the things they were reporting, and the people they were interviewing, but it is your belief that this “extra danger” you speak of is on the left. FOX news personalities literally participated in Trump stump rallies, but primarily, you see the extra danger in MSNBC and CNN. About which there’s lots of speculation, but no actual findings of fact in court, and lots of presumptions of guilt (about their biases), but no hard evidence as in the FOX case.

Which is not to say bias isn’t clearly present at MSNBC. Or CNN, but of course you ignore somehow that CNN not only gave Trump a townhall, they stacked the audience with ardent Trumpies, and the pushback across the media has actually led to a major shakeup at the network. Ousting a chief exec who claimed to be trying to restore missing balance, and I’d say that townhall indicates he was serious about it. But you think it’s CNN, not FOX, that needs to better grapple with bias?

You sure you don’t need to take an honest look at your own biases?

Personally, I think the entire media market has become a giant snowflake. Whenever it hears news it doesn’t like, it cries because the media landscape is more like it was all through history, and not like the anomaly created by the birth of TV and the few decades of news as a loss leading public service. To gain govt broadcast licenses. It dismisses anything it does not like, uncritically, by impeaching the source (granted both sides do that).

But it’s the right that bows at the knee to the chief promoter of the phrase “fake news”. Their addiction to FOX proves they are at least as addicted to fake news as anything you’d see on the left. Really, people need to work harder at staying clear of their echo chambers. But few politicos have any interest in that. Very hypocritically on the right in particular.
