The country is literally founded on the principle of freedom and equality

but we continue to work toward those goals and people like you from time to time want to pretend those ideals extend only to those like yourself.

If you and those like you want to die on the hill of excluding people from the American Experiment then the arc of history in this country toward expanding freedom and rights will show that you are to be disappointed.
