Google the disaster that happened when Arkansas required it

We have a real life case study that it didn’t work. It was a buerocratic nightmare that caused eligible people to lose benefits because they couldn’t properly file paperwork. It failed and they abandoned it because it hurt people.

The GOP is failing to learn from our own American history.

That’s extremely on brand for the GOP, so kudos for that, but let’s not be fucking morons by repeating a failed experiment.
