Some of you guys on here are so far gone at this point, I fear there is no coming back for you. Wherever you are, you are suffering whether you will openly admit that or not (I know the answer is “not”). If that describes you and you are not already doing so, I personally, sincerely and without judgment encourage you to get appropriate mental health treatment. It is NOT a failure to do so. There is so much more to this existence we share together as humans than red/blue American politics, which personally I have become *completely* fed up with. While I harbor reservations that it’ll ever happen (at least in the rest of my lifetime), deep down I hope enough people in this country can finally come to their collective senses that we can get this political ship righted. But that’s not going to happen until enough people start showing far more humility, a commitment to TRUTH, honor, integrity and decency, and an intellectual curiosity beyond what junk politically slanted media *chooses* to feed to an overloaded public on a daily basis.

Here’s the thing: I don’t know what households you were raised in, but the one I grew up up in fostered those kinds of values. I thought (quite wrongly, apparently) that pretty much everyone shared those values. No one should have to be reminded that the following things are wrong: sexually assaulting people, lying, inciting violence against others, fraud, physical and emotional abuse, gaslighting, making accusations with no proof, cheating, arrogance, having no regard for anyone other than oneself, having no shame as to any of the above, and the list goes on and on.

In our modern American politics, not only have these qualities been normalized, they are even celebrated as long as you are on the right “side.” It’s disgusting. If you are one of those people who appreciate how normalized these things are and how numb it’s all becoming, then you deserve a hearty /golfclap. You’re WELL on your way to running the country into the ground.
