If I recall correctly, Goya, Chick-Fil-A, Tesla/Twitter/SpaceX, MyPillow, and other targets of leftist hate and intolerance did not, as companies, change their products or brands for any cause. Instead, leftists tried to destroy the PEOPLE who own these companies for their personal political/moral/religious views by destroying their businesses/livelihoods, which doesn’t say much for the left’s respect for a pluralistic society (not to mention the workers or vendors who suffer despite having nothing to do with the owners’ beliefs).

In contrast, Bud Light, Disney et al. made intentional decisions as BUSINESSES regarding their brands, and some consumers decided not to buy the newly branded products.

These are not the same. My personal view is that people can factor in whatever they want when choosing to buy or not buy a product. But the key point is that the left is politicizing what should be apolitical businesses by demanding they carry water for leftist causes while simultaneously trying to destroy apolitical businesses because of the personal beliefs of owners.

Summary: You may not care about the left’s culture war, but the left’s culture war cares about you.
