I don't know if this is true, but it wouldn't surprise me if it was.
It's not a Republican and Democrat thing. She's lived a privileged life due to her father. Everything has been handed to her ... including her position in the White House. It wouldn't be wrong to say her surname had more impact getting the Governorship than her accomplishments which was indirectly due to her father's influence (nepotism).
Hence, it wouldn't be a surprise if Sanders has a very high view of herself. People were always saying, "yes," because of her father.
