I can see the argument. But as I noted last week I don't see the urgency in


banning TikTok either. I know the concern is about the Chinese getting access to user data, and that the administration would like to force their parent company to divest them in order to continue operating in the US. But I also think that we give up data to all sorts of entities all the time (that might be a bad thing) without giving it much thought. We also know the dangers of social media generally.

So why the concern about TikTok in particular?
