The night before he was killed, King (a married minister) had sex w/ 2

women he wasn't married to. A third physically attacked him the next morning because he'd stood her up. (There are plenty of other similar incidents, LBJ would play the FBI tapes of his sexual escapades for amusement, those tapes have been sealed.) People call him "doctor", that degree was obtained due to large scale plagiarism.

I get a kick out of those who call him a "great man". (I am not accusing you of having said that.) He was a great leader, for which he deserves to be revered, but not a great man. It seems many of our great leaders are having their names removed from schools, hospitals, other buildings, streets, lakes, etc. because they owned slaves, &/or supported their Commonwealth (or state) 160 years ago. The application of cherry picking is very selective.
