Thanks. I got lucky. You can see my post about the poultry plant below.

At 20, I got a job with a small boutique cabinetmaker who studied with a writer and draftsmen of plans of antique furniture.

I worked a while with him before moving on to college, marriage, and then accounting, farming etc, having let the hobby drop. After I was widowed and reconnected to my childhood sweetheart, I borrowed some shop time from a lumber dealer and made her a Chippendale mirror for our first Christmas. She insisted in strongest terms that I needed to return yo those roots. We converted a garage from storage to a sweet little shop soon after marriage. I've built maybe 30 pieces since, some copied from Fine Woodworking photos of plans, some our own design. A fair amount of hand work involved like cut dovetails, etc.

Seriously (pausing from my assholery) thanks for the interest and words.
