No, but my mother did several months ago and now her eyesight is better
than mine and my wife's. She recovered pretty quickly and is very happy with the result.
One thing to look into is whether they have the ability to correct vision problems during the procedure. As I understand it, this can be an advantage of laser surgery machines, but these also involve a patient co-pay as insurance may not fully pick up the tab. It also may require implanting a premium IOL (lens), which also costs a bit more. My mom went this route and now doesn't use glasses at all (even for reading), unless the font size is very small.
