I actually think DeSantis would have a decent shot to beat Trump in the


primary. There won’t be a huge field in 2024 like there was in 2016. I think the anti-Trump group would solidify behind DeSantis which would make it much more difficult for Trump this time. However if DeSantis won, Trump would split the party so badly I think the Dem candidate would win the general.
