help Oz. According to polls since the primary, Oz’s biggest issue has been consolidating the GOP voters. Fetterman’s numbers with Dem voters have been stronger than Oz’s with GOP voters in every poll I saw over the last few months. I think Oz could have been in danger of having some GOP voters stay home, but Mastriano is the type of candidate who will drive those specific voters out to vote. Mastriano turns off Independents and moderates so he’s getting crushed in the polls. Oz is doing pretty well with those voters, so he probably just needs GOP turnout.

Anyway that’s my amateur theory that could be completely wrong.
