I am staying on topic. Since I've been a taxpayer I've paid for a fucked


war in Iraq, another fucked war in Afghanistan (20 years!!!), an S&L bailout, an even bigger Wall Street bailout, farm subsidies, welfare both corporate and personal, huge increases in the military budget year over year, Social Security, Medicare, roads, food stamps, schools, etc. Some of these things I agree with. Some I don't. But they all come out of my taxes, voted by my duly elected representatives.

So I try to vote for representatives who will do more of the things I want them to do. I'm not so hot on this college loan forgiveness, but we do have an infrastructure bill and now a bill that will help us with green energy. I'm not going to be handwringing or begrudging people who benefit by this policy.
