…ludicrous. Do you think he has nuclear codes lying around on the coffee table at Mar-a-Lago or
something? The DoJ itself ALREADY sent attorneys to MAL months ago to review materials he had there and instruct the Trump camp on how to store them.

Second, the president has the supreme authority to determine what is and is not classified. If Trump says they’re not classified, they’re not classified, period. This fact, by the way distinguishes this situation from Clinton’s, in addition to the fact that she was CONDUCTING government business off the grid for the express purpose of avoiding oversight.

Not only did Trump not do that, but he didn’t take anything either as far as we know. To the best of our knowledge, the GAO packed boxes and sent them to Trump, thus absolving him of doing anything. Since then, there’s been ongoing negotiation between Trump’s attorneys and federal records keepers about what he can and cannot keep. All we know at this point is that it’s he said/she said. There is literally no evidence of ANY crime here.

Third, how do you think presidents get all sorts of personal and professional documents into their libraries. Go research what Obama, for example, did when he left office and get back to me.

Finally, the evidence that they’ve stepped into a pile of shit their media campaign to disavow it for what it was — an armed, unmonitored raid by on a former president’s and regime enemy’s home lasting over nine hours with no warrant or any other documentation available to support it. It’s a shitshow, and it has already backfired.
