If you support an irrational party, you're going to have to take the heat


I met with a former Texas GOP congressman this week. His take on the Texas GOP in general and this resolution in particular, the big lie, voting rights, 1/6 insurrection, Trump/Trumpism was pretty much the same as you'll hear on MSNBC. Hillary was the first time I voted for a Dem for President. I won't be voting R again until a few cycles after they return to sanity.

How can sane republicans ignore the alarm bells from all the long-time (actual) conservatives moving away Trumpism? And how those who worked in Trump's administration talk about how spectacularly unqualified and unethical Trump and his cronies are? There's no "both sides" on this, one side has gone fucking nuts and you have to live in a bubble not to see it.
