My issue with Democrats claiming democracy is being threatened is that

Democratic candidates/groups have gotten involved in multiple Republican primaries so far this cycle trying to boost the stop-the-steal candidate into the general election. If someone truly believes these candidates are a threat to democracy, they’d do everything possible to keep them out of office.

PA Dems bought ads about Doug Mastriano in the GOP primary. Colorado Dems are doing the same thing for far-right Ron Hanks in the GOP Senate primary. Similar things occurred in the CA attorney general primary and one of the CA congressional races.
