Sure, it's a lot of things.
I don't care for what Kaep did and think it's nothing but divisive but that's the tip of the iceberg. I was over the Skin's long before that. And I always had two favorite teams, the other is the Bears. But when both your teams suck and the quality of the game has gone down significantly...plus all the things you mention, there's just no interest.
I was holding onto the Bears but now I just don't get any joy or entertainment out of watching the NFL. I've preferred the college game since I was a young man. When I was a kid it was the NFL. But when the Hoo's got good, I was like, this is way more fun. And it is.
Snyder was really the first nail in the coffin along with the rule changes. I said a long time ago they would never win a super bowl again unless he sells the team or gets hit by a bus. And I think that will hold true. I used to go to 2-4 games a year. It was just as boring in person as it is on tv, after a while. And so many poor performances live in big games. Cowboys, Thursday night, Monday night, Sunday night, it didn't matter. We just sucked.
And now that they are no longer the Redskins, which I think is a great name, there is nothing for me. Now, if they boot Snyder, come to Virginia and maybe change the color scheme, too, I might come around. But still, the game itself is not what it once was, bottom line
