I think we should ridicule the absurdities they say, correct the lies they tell, oppose the offensive, illegal, or deplorable things they do, but we should follow Michelle Obama’s guidance, when they go low we go high.
Remember, while Trump may be an inherently bad person, a ConMan, and many Republican political figures are also lousy human beings, many of their followers do so because they’ve been convinced Democrats and their captive media are evil and out to do bad things. When we go into the ditch with them we justify their brainwashing and we win no arguments.
