When I see crime surge by the largest amount


in 100 years under one president, and then increase slightly from that inflated rate under the next president, I tend to think there might be issues driving the crime rate higher other than the second president. For the record, I don’t blame trump for the largest increase in 100 years either. Obviously the pandemic has caused tremendous disruption. if you want to blame Biden for the 2021 increase in crime, you need to blame trump for the much larger increase in 2020.
