That’s delusional my friend. You have to ignore what “power” means
In this country. It is very much an open question whether a repub can go against Trump and survive in the party. Liz Cheney went from being an absolute pillar of Republicanism to being essentially excommunicated simply for opposing Trump. That’s the only reason for the party turning on her.
Most repubs doubt the outcome of the last election simply because Trump repeats it over and over, in spite of no finding in court out of scores of cases to support it.
To claim those aren’t indicators of one of the most influential political figures in the country is to ignore the meaning of political influence and power. It’s a really funny defense mechanism Trumpies lurch to for some reason. I guess it’s easier than trying to defend the guy, and lord knows Trumpies can’t actually disavow him. So they keep repeating he’s no longer relevant, which is absurd, I guess because Trumpism teaches them that repeating something over and over again makes it true no matter how ridiculous it is.
