...be the case with you -- then, yes, you would not be familiar with it.

The news sources you patronize were key players in the creation and telling of The Russia Collusion Big Lie. Not only did they fishhook you from the beginning, but they sure as hell aren't going to clear up your misconceptions for which they are responsible. And since they know their audience isn't independent enough to seek out information elsewhere, they really don't need to worry about it. This is why half the country -- as you point out -- has no idea what is going on. It's why I use my explaining-microchips-to-Amazonian-tribesmen analogy.

You believe Trump colluded with Russia for the same reason you believe that a respiratory virus, which cannot be stopped and which is survived by 99%+ of the people who contract it, is a great excuse to shutter businesses, schools and churches, coerce medical treatments and toss election laws overboard. It's the same reason you believe that Trump said to inject Clorox or called nazis fine people or was Putin's puppet -- i.e., you've simply been duped by propaganda.
