When Trump won in 2016, Putin hit the jackpot. Rather than have to face a


tough Russian hardliner like Hillary Clinton, he got a soft, pliable and cooperative Donald Trump beholden to Russian interests, almost a real like Manchurian candidate. Then he scored bonus points with his troll farms tapping into white resentment to help stoke an authoritarian movement in the United States fully dedicated to his useful idiot in the White House.

It has been in plain sight for some time now. The comments from the Putinist/Trumpist faction of the GOP merely highlight the problem. MAGA my ass.
