The difference between Ukraine and Russia in this conflict is...
...that the latter is a nuclear-armed global adversary whereas the former is the Slavic equivalent of what snobby lefties like to call "flyover country" here in America. There is a very big difference between the two, and you should keep that in mind, GI Joe.
It doesn't fucking matter what our "aspirations" are. What matters is what we are willing to do about it other than preen. One of the cornerstones of American foreign policy for the last 50-70 years has been to drive a wedge between China and Russia and play them off against one another. Ask yourself what Biden's war drums are likely to do.
Under Trump, Russia didn't pull this shit. Under Obama/Biden/Harris, it's become somewhat routine. That should tell you something. The Biden admin is weak. Everyone knows it's weak. Afghanistan provided irrefutable proof of its weakness and incompetence. The best we can hope for now is that they do no further damage, but it's not trending that way.
Regardless, the left's Ukraine virtue-signaling is no different than its COVID virtue-signaling: It's not gonna make a damn bit of difference.
