At least until it can be shown in the midterms not to be the case, that same standard you just applied to Graham should be applied to Trump.

Graham is not the leader of your cult, so you can happily criticize him. You claim to know that Trump was joking because all those things I pointed out should be assumed to be obvious to the guy who complimented Frederick Douglass’s ongoing efforts, and the American’s efforts against British air power circa 1780.

Maybe he was joking, and maybe he wasn’t, but as we’re all in agreement that Pootey’s not at his most emotionally stable, it shouldn’t matter in terms of calling it out as we sit a little closer to global conflict than any time at least since the end of the Cold War. Trump’s words potentially matter a great deal, just as Graham’s do.

Maybe one day you will free yourself from this cult-like devotion, as far-fetched as that now appears.
