No. DeSantis doubles down on Covid theater.


He is making himself the king of it with his obsession over whether other people choose to wear masks.

DeSantis has always been about imposing Covid rules, every bit as much as the most germaphobic dem. On private businesses and on localities. Fortunately the courts stand in his way.

Now, whether berating teenagers who show up to act as props for his speech, or obsessing over other people’s decisions on his Twitter feed, he is rapidly becoming a leading contender for a Covid theater Tony Award.
