While he's absolutely right on that, those are very easy words to tweet.


Much more effort to make happen, and do so as a viable alternative. Even harder to get Europe to go along, at great cost and pain, in order for it to work, given just how dependent they've become for energy.

Had we and Euros done that, and taken the steps to make it a viable alternative, back in '14, or even before that tbh, there may have been a shot at it being an option today. Instead we got scolding of the euros after Crimea for what should've been an obvious problem, by the very person working to make it not viable. Thanks Obama!

And now we see the same stupid decisions making future such actions not viable, just replacing Russia with China.

Against stupidity, even the Gods are helpless.
