When it comes to Roe, some admit to me that they don’t care if it’s a good Constitutional decision. They just want it to stand. So that is similar - they are all about those guardrails on our democracy, except when one of them gets in their way.

So I get the complaints that lefties are a bit transactional in their respect for the courts in arbitrating disagreements on important issues. What I don’t get is your eagerness to emulate that.
