Between Fauci going off the rails (again) and the former COVID advisory committee members publicly criticizing the administration, it's obvious that the political science has won out over the doomsday epidemiological science inside the White House. Unfortunately for the administration, they picked someone to lead the CDC who is utterly unqualified to run political interference for them.
