I always liked when the late Tim Russert would bring Dems and Repubs on his

show Meet the Press the Sunday before election day and ask them when they predicted their fellow Dems or Repubs would win (because of course they always would predict their own party would win), if they would bet a dinner at Morton’s on it. The guests always hedged :)
