Pragmatically, that’s probably the best you can hope for


I’m not trying to “both sides” this, but it’s rare for any candidate to fully and explicitly denounce their crazies on their side in unequivocal terms. You just can’t enact what they want when you’re in office and hope they don’t understand that. Otherwise you get primary’d by a teapartier or an AOC type.
