people however. I remember a few guys I knew who were into the "black helicopter" and "one world government" Bircher crap. But they were loons who had a hard time finding like-minded individuals except through their churches; same place my sister-in-law got her wacky ideas going back to the Y2K craziness.

The difference? No social media to connect the like-minded fools.
