No one but you has suggested it was perfect. But for millions and millions


of people, it enabled them to get affordable health care. Yes the mandate penalty was too low, but the GOP eventually took care of that by abolishing it. Yes because of that some insurance companies in some markets were scared away by the early risk profile of some pools, but the ACA had early year subsidies to cover that, except the GOP took those away.Which had a domino effect of driving more insurance companies out of more markets and/or raising rates to unaffordable levels
