Yep. In the end I don't see how this ends up much different than original


plan. Sure, they can't call each other out, since they won't know what the other said in their town hall, but town halls in general aren't suited for going at each other.

As long as the questioners aren't disparagingly different, and the moderators do a decent job, the resulting outcome vs original plan won't be much different. Which frankly, barring some shocking event, wasn't going to move the needle anyway IMO.
