There's a two way efficacy according to Dr. Linsey Marr of VT
and others. It depends on the kind of mask, and the effectiveness is not the same in for the wearer and those the wearer encounters.
Some people read one statement at some point in time and never bother to update their data base. I trust science and good scientists, and work to stay open to new findings.
