Yep...I am involved with a similar program in the construction trades


Fantastic private/public partnership funded by construction companies and local churches (gasp) to address the severe shortage in construction workers...it’s a two year HS track and we’ve partnered with our local community college for the hands on and classroom education. Students are offered different tracks ranging from construction technology to heavy equipment operation...well paying, high demand careers.

We just wrapped up our annual audit of the program...to date, we have graduated over 1,000 students, with a 90% placement rate...average salary after 2 years...over 50k, with no college debt!
