Having turned PPE procurement by the feds into a total shitshow at the fuck factory, led by VC analysts instead of professional procurement staff and beset with grift, handouts and favors to Trump donors and media lapdogs like Jeanine Pirro at the expense of legitimate medical professionals and patients (see https://www.nytimes.com/2020/05/05/us/jared-kushner-fema-coronavirus.html), is now apparently going to lead "Operation Warp Speed", a plan (or really, a goal since there is no plan yet) to develop a widely available coronavirus vaccine by the end of 2020.

I mean all of this in addition to his jobs of creating peace in the Middle East and solving the opioid crises, things he certainly has.....not been successful at in any way or measure.

But maybe I am just being too pessimistic. We should be optimistic. We have the President's totally capable and certainly-not-nepotistically-appointed-charlatan son-in-low at the helm. It's not like this administration subscribes to the classic sideshow carnival barker gambit of overpromising, underdelivering and then moving the goalposts to claim they actually overdelivered!

I can't wait for the showers of grift, lies and quackery!
